Join us for some embodied play and experimentation through the medium of contact improvisation dance!
This workshop will be all levels friendly & kid friendly. There will be a mix of exercises and open dancing.
The theme is Falling! We will practice technique and allow technique to dissolve.
Early bird: $25-$40
Day of: $35-$55

About me:
My name is Jacob Combe and I’ve been teaching contact improvisation since 2023, and dancing this form since 2019. I’ve been in the movement / meditation / healing arts realms for nearly a decade. Contact improvisation is perhaps my favorite form through which I can taste the contradiction of freedom and containment that it is to be in a physical body, and also in relation with other bodies.
In this medium I have studied with Lilianna Kane, Mark Young, Irene Sposetti, Andrea Scheel, Karen Nelson, Leilani Weiss, Nica Portovia, Alicia Grayson & others.
