This all-levels contact improvisation workshop with teacher Jacob Combe is an invitation to discover how we can transform the way we move, alone and in connection.
We'll explore spinal articulation and mobility through "Material for the Spine," developed by Steve Paxton (one of the founders of Contact Improvisation), and practice how this research can enrich our contact improvisation. We'll also move through improvisational scores designed to open up new perspectives in how we sense and respond. Weight sharing techniques will be woven throughout.

What to bring: Water, comfy clothes (ideally long sleeves and long pants), kneepads, a meditation cushion (optional), and a journal (optional).
